Snow day number three

Today we were stuck again and it snowed all day AGAIN.  We got a few more inches.  All told I think we got over a foot over the past few days.  We hung out inside for most of the morning just goofing off. At least I got a lot of laundry done and all the beds thoroughly stripped and washed.  After the boys went down for a nap Hannah and I made cookies then Beth called to see if we wanted to go up to the school and sled with them.  Um Yeah!  Hannah and I geared up and off we went.    There is a big hill at her school and it was so fun.  I even got in a few runs with Hannah.  After dinner Dave went out to shovel the driveway again.  When the boys heard him outside they decided they just had to go out too.  They both were so patient while I geared them up.  Even Max didn't complain about his boots or his gloves.  Yes!  Amazing progress.  It was dark out but we played outside for about 30 minutes.  Jakie finally is getting his snow legs.  He wandered around in the road where it was compacted down.  He fell a lot but could get himself back up.  Max wanted us to hold him but did walk around for a little bit.  I am just so proud of him for gearing up and going out to begin with.  After we were done outside it was time for cookies, baths and beds.  Tomorrow is another day off but we aren't supposed to get anymore snow.  Maybe by Friday we can finally get out again.
